Serissa still in Training

Post by Jester »

Hi guys.....I decided to take a few photos of my Serissa so I could get some feedback. I have been tempted to put it straight back into the ground to thicken the trunk but have not made such a decision as yet.
I plan is the round off the top and possible have the bottom edges of the foliage droop down a little more. Winter has thinned out the foliage quite a bit. Would you progress in a different way to get more out of the tree? (Possibly a full on broom style) Also I have superimposed (as best as I could) the pot I eventually want to put it into. Do you think it matches?? (Don't worry about the size of the pot obviously due to it's pozzie in the photo)

Hey Jester
From the amount of trimming you must have done on this already to compact the foliage so well I would be thinking it is ready for a nice display pot.

they grow so slowly that you would have to have it in the ground for so long you will lose the nice compact foliage you have there.
