Restyle Juniper 2

Hi guys,
this is the second Juniper restyled today.
Originally nursery stock from Bonsai Environment, I gave it the first style in 2008 and have thought that it was too top heavy for the 25mm trunk.
I have left it till now as I wanted it to regain some vigor after being removed from the ground, potted up,styled, wired and repotted.
Some of the top is still fine and requires wiring but for todays excersize, just getting the balance ans style right was the main objective.
Hope you like it but some way to go in refinement.

I like the overall appearance of this juniper. And as you have stated, it still needs
to develop a bit more.

I am guessing that it is at most around 10 years old. But off course I could be
wrong. You have some jinn, do you think the wood would last long?

as long as "jin" is treated with Lime Sulphur it will last a very long time.
Juniper was grown in ground to develop fast growth and is probably not even that old. I know that it was planted below a sewer transpiration pit and grew very fast

Looks good, but a few things that I cant shake.
The right hand jin, at the main right hand branch is one thing. It doesnt feel right.

there were thoughts of removing it completely, however, consensus on the day was to leave it even though it was shortened and reduced in height.
It may well be removed in the future.
Don't forget photos really highlight any faults and in the flesh the "Jin" doesn't look too bad, but I agree the photo makes it look busy around that area. A lot more refinement for this tree yet.
The other thing that this photo highlights is the rear branch requires lifting as it appears to be down crossing over the RHS branch
