I have been meaning to post a few pics up for a while of some trees I have seen throughout australia, i will show a few now for you to all native fanatics to froth over :tu: :tu:

first is a beautiful gum which will blow most peoples opinion on what these iconic trees can achieve in harsh environments.

probably the best yamadori I have ever found. looks like a beautiful twisted juniper but its not its a native.

this one stayed in place as i was more then 1000k's from home.

There was heaps more on the rock where thwy were, and that spiral gum was randomly in the perth hills bush

this fig it seems was used as a gypsy camp at some stage it was rather magical.

The pine ooking thing are some sort of spikey coastal thing id say they are native that was down in esperance and I spun out when my mate.showed me that gum out bush, maybe Pup woulf be ablr to id the coastal shrubby things

Can any one see the Australian STYLE in these trees. Or are they the same as the northern hemisphere, but just Australian Natives

Red, the ones you showed are also around Albany they are a Melaleuca spp, I am yet to get a definitive answer, maybe Matt from Denmark can tell us! :?:
