Absolutely inspirational pics from you lucky travelers lately . That old Oak has motivated me to get out there and work mine over . I can see Robin Hood and his merry men swing out of that tree . .

Cheers . Alpine

You have a good eye, thanks for posting. Now we'll have to send you off to the Red Centre, to see what you come up with... Maybe Tasmanian alps as well.

Hi there,

You haven't lived until you've seen the bonsai Eucalyptus trees on top of Uluru. Amazing.

Cheers,

Brad75, pics please.... There's lots of inspiration out there, looking at trees that have survived in the toughest of conditions.

My brain formed half a dozen faces in that first image.

The layers of trees in that last image is awesome.[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Adge, that last photo was taken at one of the most beautiful places I saw during our Scottish road trip. I took my boots off, walked across the stream and spent 1/2 an hour staring at the beauty of the trees and the landscape. The Scots pine is a sight to behold in its natural environment. A beautiful tree just full of character.
