Coming to think of it.. how big d'ya reckon she is :lost:

looks like a 10 meter plus specimen.. I'd love to see these guys in the foliage

for sure it aint Australia :(

Hi,

It looks like the one planted by Mr. Miyagi back in the mid 1980... Given that it is in the U.S.A. :tounge: I would not attempt to dig it... people are well-armed over there :lol:

-- Seriously though, I would attempt to guess that it is in Taiwan?

All welcomed as unique stunners of nature like these need to be shared and admired for all to enjoy.

Really wished they had more info on the specie and its history.. see if I can find more info somewhere :reading:

i think you are right daiviet.
i have seen photos of them in the bonsai magazines i subscribe in Taiwan. they were taken by a well known professional photogragher and are studied by bonsai professionals to mimic the drama of deadwood made by Mother Nature. and yes they are massive trees.
