I just watched Australia #11 where he's in the Stirling Ranges....

This thread's got everything ... Treeman quoting himself at the start, TG going down a rabbit hole twice and then of course, old mate with his own inimitable style. He's definitely a different unit - in a good way and indeed, it seems bonsai and orchids hobbyists are full of different units.
I think I have mentioned this before but if you want to dive into the world of orchids, Susan Orlean's The Orchid Thief is a great read that said, it does get mixed reviews. Each to their own.
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.
