Alternative to Teabags

Hey all,
So I stumbled across the idea from YouTube of using large teabags and putting some dynamic lifter and blood n bone in the teabags for fertiliser and it works a treat. Really awesome stuff.
The problem I have now is my little dog finds them irresistible. I fertilised a heap and he got them all and proceeded to destroy them in the lawn. No real biggie.
The other day however he was so impressed with himself he ate the teabag. 2 days later he threw in up intact which is really lucky. If it had of gone the other way, he’d be in serious trouble.
So I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Putting the plants up higher isn’t really an option (there’s too many) and I’d like to reduce the “silt” filtering through into the soil.
If need be I’ll just deal with the silt but, thought I’d ask if anyone has any methods I haven’t seen/thought if that may help.
Cheers for any help!
