Red Pine

Post by techpetal »

Red Pine I bought two weeks ago.

Hasn't been touched yet and is still in this form but I will do something soon once I've settled on it. Still contemplating and sketching at the moment.

Cheers

There'll have to be some clever work to blend the old and new growth of the trunk into some cohesion. The alternative would be an air layer at the point of transition but we've only got 13 months mind. In the long run, the layer would be my route because the newer trunk is just what's needed for the style.

Thanks Stymie,

I agree some serious work will need to be done to blend that trunk. I'll post some picks tomorrow following the culling and initial bending/wiring.

Cheers
