Don here. Unfortunately I had to send in my score points before some entrants had submitted their final photographs. I apologise to you all but it was unavoidable as I was going to hospital. I'm home at present and awaiting re-admission.

Oh shoot, that's n bummer! Very sorry to hear it. Thank you for your interest and efforts with regard to your fellow bonsai fans in Oz, and get better soon!
Maybe it's not a bad thing that you have to be hospitalised now, while it's Winter and your bonsai don't need much care.
Best wishes,

Lisa

Congratulations to all the winners and place getters!

Thanks to the organisers and especially the judges. The competition encouraged me to try something that I had not considered before the competition was announced. Thus I have learned and also have another tree to think about that I would not have had otherwise.

Further apologies for my recent absence. I'm back in harness again for now. On http://www.weetrees.co.uk/phpBB3/ over here, we have just started what we are calling a group planting challenge rather than continuing to call our efforts competitions. The target, as always, is to promote interest in our art and keep the members interested. As one challenge finishes another one will be started. The next one may well be for a twin trunk entry. G'day from Don.
