[Category 1] Melaleuca Rhaphiophylla

Post by paul od »

This tree was collected in the early Spring of 2005 from a swamp 60 km south of Perth WA. It was in a training pot for two years and in Oct 2007 was placed in the pot in which it now sits. When collected, it only had two trunks and the back trunk grew about a year later. The tree is 860mm high, 450mm wide and the circumference of the base is 220mm. It is fed once a month with a small amount of Osmocote All Purpose and fortnightly with Phostrogen Plant Food and the alternate fortnight with Yates Fish Emulsion. The bare wood on the tree was there when collected.
