name: Hugh Grant
state: NSW
tree name: port jackson fig
b/n: Ficus rubiginosa
age: 3 years
yrs in training: 1 month
size: height -13cm , width - 22cm
style: semi cascade
it was grown from a cutting in autumn 2007 off one of my trees, it has been untouched and left to grow untill a month ago.
it got its first styling one month ago at the beggining of march. most of its long branched were removed and the apex shorted considerably, the right hand cascading branch is being left to grow to thicken up.
it was repotted a week after its designing into a small pot so i can encouage a small very compact root system as i plan to plant it on a large mountinous rock one day with a number of other figs that i plan on styling in spring.
