What's your plan for the shoots coming off the right side of the trunk?
Nice tree BTW

I have decided to keep them. The tree kept wanting to put out sprouts on that side of the trunk so I will work them into the eventual shape of the tree.

If I don't like it in 10 or 20 years I can always cut them off!

Hello Grant,

This is a great tree and a very interesting thread from start to 2015.

I was wondering how this tree developed and do you still possess it?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi, I no longer own the tree, I sold it about 2 years ago, It stayed in great shape till then and was an easy tree to look after, it just needed enough water and fertiliser, then regular defoliation and it went fine.

Grant

By the way , it wasn’t the flu and I’m better now and not infectious.
