I think I have walked past these trees with my eyes closed for the 20 years that I have lived near them. I have never once noticed these seed pods before the tree leafs put!

These are the trees from where I dig the root suckers for the grouping in this thread. This group has already had one trim this growing season.

Tree blindness is real, and bonsai can cure it :)
