Hi guys thanks for the feedback. I will start the quest for an appropriate pot. Have several large unglazed big pots but would like to get something a bit special.

Hi Guys! Yes that's the vid. I can't recommend it enough. I spent years cutting back to two buds constantly and getting nowhere. Once you have tried the method and get a better feel for how plums grow I recommend varying your approach to suit where your tree is up to.

Unfortunately a watering system failure killed my best plum last summer...I can't bring myself to empty the pot if it's dead skeleton :cry:
