Late Summer Hawthorn

As part of the late summer photo taking I took a photo of this tree yesterday and thought I would share.
This is one of the favorites here and I appreciate it because it has something different to look at each season. The nabari is a feature I think as well as the aged bark, but the ramification is really starting to look the goods now so that is very pleasing.

Those who have not grown hawthorn will not really appreciate the time and effort that has gone into developing that branching and ramification.
Excellent work Watto :clap:
Mine suffered some drying earlier in summer and is not looking anything like as well as that :crybye:
