Not a very good picture. I will try for a better one next time the sun's shining...
I find you need to defoliate this plant in mid summer to get good clean leaves for autumn

they are a spectacular tree to have on our benches
mine did not get defoliated this year so the leaves are pretty ratty but good colour :)
