? Birch ID

Post by austindrake »

Hi Everyone,

I've seen this tree around a few times but no matter what I search online I can't for the life of me find the name of this tree. I love the grey bark and would like to try and get one.

I think it's a species of birch due to the way the bark and leaves look, and also the catkins, but I have had no luck confirming the species name.

Any suggestions would be helpful! ImageImageImage

Looks more like an alder to me.

Far out, that's looks to be it.
I searched "grey barked alder" and it does look remarkably like Alnus Incana, Grey Alder.

Cheers for the help!
