I grew this in the ground for a while, and kept hacking it back, and it just kept on looking ugly.....
Then I turned it around. Just didn't see the possibility until now.

It died from ?root rot - I've had others of the same variety go the same way. Possibly I need to bare-root them and put them into something very free-draining, but I've lost enthusiasm...
