the bark is too light, and its a registered weed so the builders would not be planting it as a landscape tree.

I don't know about Melia, they don't grow over here, but Golden rain tree is surely invasive: I have dozens, if not hundreds of seedlings from the tree in my garden. I've planted some in pots, just for the sake of trying, but it's true that the compound leaves are very big and that only a tall bonsai can be made from these.anttal63 wrote:
