To continue the discussion on stock progression, here is a pepper corn.
I cut it hard back about 3 weeks ago, and its put on a large amount of growth. I have had it sitting in water with a heavy amount of fert.
i plan to keep cutting back to get some nice branch movement and taper before getting some weep in it. It will also get some root work come spring, although I have been told they are not lovers of such work. Any advice there?
For size reference, there is my kangaroo...
I really like this tree despite its odd roots. As it starts to bark it should be a nice little tree.
Peppercorn.
