NANDINA DOMESTICA
I have a NANDINA DOMESTICA which is about 8 years old. I want to be able to get some new growth of hard wood is this possible? and if so HOW???

Hi Ray,
Yes you can cut down to stump or hard wood, and it should shoot readily. to be on the safe side I would do it in spring. Also one thing that might help is using low nitrogen feed, to keep the nodes short, and as far as styling maybe think about doing some kind of grove or clump, because of how these grow.
