Lonicera has become home to a creature.
I have quite a large Lonicera Fragrantisima which has become a lodging for a native creature, Maybe Bushrat who are quite large, but cute. Dont have the heart to evict him but will try and get a photo and post it. sort of reminds me of a cartoon my boy was watching once...Fern gully. You with children will know what i am talking about

Its a nice tree. Would be a shame to needlessly move him, unless he did damage the tree.
Still he would make for a great living accent.

Yes they are busy little creatures. Unfortunately they are every where here. They eat the electrical cables and anything else they can get their teeth into. I think the spider and the rat are having a relationship Pup. Who am i to cast dispersions on animal/insect relationships.

By the way mate, that Lonicera is stunning!!! The bark is very unique and the foliage actually reminds me a bit of the Fukien Tea tree. Even the pot matches. I have never seen this species before. Checked it out on the net. Wow, stunning flowers and fruit as well. What a winner.!!
