Repotting Blue Atlas Cedar

Post by boristhebadseed »

I live in central Vic and am currently working away from home. My garden is being tended by family but they only water and fertilise under instructions. I have recently been reading up on repotting window for this species, and have read that warm months are preferrable or just prior the bud break in spring.

I have a limited window over the next week to conduct a first potting of this tree, should I wait until next year or take this autumn opportunity?

All opinions appreciated.

I don’t see any stress on the tree that would make me want to repot now... I also say wait.

Hi, most common and safest time to do a first potting of cedars is prior to bud break in early spring.
