New Home for Juniper

Post by Raging Bull »

I've been lucky enough to have won the raffle at our monthly bonsai club meet twice this year, scoring big pots both times. The latest one this month is a large oval 45 cm X 33 cm by 27 cm high. As I was thinking of repotting this Juniper Virginiana because it was starting to get a bit pot-bound it was an ideal match for this tree. The base only just fits without having to cut any of the roots, though I did tease them out a bit and trim a little here & there. Although the pot is fairly large I don't think it's overpotted. Any thoughts on this ?
