A little scots pine

Post by treeman »

This one is prostrate form. P. sylvestris Hillside Creeper
Second pic is blurred but gives you an idea. Should be ready for pot next spring. Apex up or down?

No wrong answer looks a winner either way, personally I prefer it up. Nice tree either way

Fantastic tree. Another vote for apex up.

I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.

Put me down for apex up, apex down feels a bit too predictable for my mind

It feels better balanced with the apex up, don't know why. It sort of stands back against the headlong rush to the right.

I'm looking forward to seeing it potted.
