I thought it was supposed to be Bonsai not Topiary!
I like the Trunk, but the top will need radical rework.

Gday Leigh!

Well, you asked for it...

Seriously though, this tree reminds me a lot of my Melaleuca in its early days: great movement down below, but badly in need of some thinning up top. There must be some interesting branch structures in there somewhere, and I'd love to see them!

Thanks.

Fly.

leigh asked me a couple of weeks back to go through some of the old threads of his and do a few virts on the trees to spur on some discussion and thought, i seen this one and had a bit of a giggle but seen beyond the afro look to something that could be quite special.

heres the virt

Another 2 cents. If this keeps up I'll be broke by Xmas.

Great trunk. Have you considered rotating it 90 degs to the right, and hanging it over the edge of a cliff? Take the two or three branches that make an interesting line from there and cut/jin/carve out the rest. or not. Just a thought.

EEEEEK!!! I could just see Nick Lenz sitting on his porch pumping 12 Gauge rounds into this one

Not beyond repair Leigh, just a slow process.

Have fun
