White fungal slightly

Post by wiggs »

Hi all, quick JBP fungal(I think) infection tiny patches on some branches.

I am better to spray with confidor or use lime sulphur and rinse off after a period of time?

Fluffy white on pines is likely to be pine bark adeljid (spelling?) and is an insect not fungus. You may be able to see small grey bodies that squash if you look real close. Adeljid is difficult to get rid of but systemic like confior works well.
Confidor will treat pests but not fungus.
