2016 to today. This was the first juniper i purchased.
Essentially all i have done is plant in the largest pot i could find at the time, wire, feed heavily and prune a few times. Made the trip to bonsai world this week to choose pot. Moving forward assuming it lives i will refine the foilage and possibly change the planting angle.

Well done, progressing nicely. I wish my junipers would thicken their trunks that quickly.

Cheers! I think most people try an style most tree's too early, especially junipers. Its common to hear that they do not thicken up. I think people just do not give thrm enough time in a large enough pot to thicken up properly.Raging Bull wrote: ↑April 24th, 2021, 2:57 pm Well done, progressing nicely.
