Nootkatens bonsai progression 1

Hello, this was one of the first trees that I bought for bonsai, about 3 years ago. The first pic is from june 2021 and the last pic is from today with others being within the time period, unfortunately I don't have any pictures from when I bought it. I have found little information on this species and how to prune/ pinch it however I treat it like a juniper, not a hinoki, in that I don't pinch it. I repotted it into its first bonsai pot about a month ago (second pic), it is a nice japanese pot that has a crack in it, I found in hard rubbish that someone was chucking out. I have since bought 2 other trees from the same nursery that were in the same discount pile, imo they are an easy and fun species for bonsai. https://imgur.com/a/1J8T653 here are the photos as some are too large to post here
