hi all
just a question does rosemary back bud if you trunk chop it , so that it doesn't have any foliage left . Also what sort of after care does one need to do when you dig one up and when is the best time of the year, any help would be much appreciated

Re: rosemary back budding
I'm pretty sure that rosemary will not back bud on old wood.

Re: rosemary back budding
Hi,
You could try grafting some of the foliage from the top to the base then when that takes you can chop or try air layering the top.
Thanks
Michael

I have a similar problem. I found an old rosemary with an amazing twisted trunk. The growth is to far from the trunk. Not sure where you go from here.
