This tree is going to be a stunner when you sort out the branches and give it the sparse aussie feel. Can't wait to see its progression

Thanks Squatjar! I have another native that is about to burst and I’ll update soon.

In the meantime, I’ve never been very successful with bonsai azaleas - while in the garden, they flourish.

I have two going ok in pots this year - here’s one and the other is about to burst and I’ll update that in a week or two. Nothing special - really just a shrub in a small pot but at least my wife likes it!!

Not quite ready to be labelled a bonsai as it requires some further growth and styling but a little proud of this one. First aerial layer 2 years ago, now starting to put on a show. The partially snapped branch looks like a bird has landed on it perhaps?ImageImage

Another native about to show it’s beautiful flowers. The one above it still flowering profusely and now this one. I’m loving natives as bonsai!
