Re: Adelaide crepe Myrtles
I'm in Adelaide and crepes are one of the last to flower each year for me. I find it to be at least early Feb before I get flowers, last year it was very late Feb. It's always worth the wait tho

Ok good. I actually thought they were earlier so was worried they weren’t going to. I don’t really care except that I am trying to find out what colour one in particular is so I can choose a pot.

Re: Adelaide crepe Myrtles
Some Crepe myrtles flower early, others not until late in summer. It depends on the species. I only have one (in Ballarat) and it is only just getting going with the new season growth.

Re: Adelaide crepe Myrtles
The trees in the ground have been flowering for 5 or 6 weeks here in SE Qld. The ones in pots a bit slower, some started about 2 weeks ago, others are only now coming into bud, some have no buds at all.

Re: Adelaide crepe Myrtles
My pink one is starting to show the terminal growth pattern now, hopefully the other one will too.
