Hi Watto.
Option A from myself and the better half agrees.
Not sure on the pot however. I understand that’s what you had but I think a different pot in the future would greatly improve this. it’s not bad or anything just not living up to its full potential IMHO. Just my :2c: and in saying that almost all my trees are in pots not suited because they didn’t fit / I don’t have much to choose from.

Kieran you are a champion in my opinion as you like plum. Everyone should like plums!
This pot fits the bill for now but I am interested in a pot suggestion from you?

Hi Watto, I don’t have many trees/sticks (for now) as I only have an enclosed balcony but after I was given the no more talk I got a plum and came up with a great idea of telling the boss it was for her and I’ll just help look after it. Well now I’ll be looking at it and hear a voice say “oi, that’s mine” :tounge: I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out for more
As for the pot I’ll keep a look out for a picture of what I think but let’s not forget I’m very new to bonsai so I might be way off track. I’ll get back to you.

What do you think of this from Victor Harris? Wasn’t what I was thinking but I think it could work quite well to just push it that little bit further. Just a thought anyway.

Not a great virt but it was my first attempt and it took me so long to do

Nice specimen Watto! How old is this one?

Option A for me.

Might give one of these a crack myself [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Nice pot Kieran but getting the root ball down that small may be an issue.
It looks like a pretty convincing victory for option A so when I display this in a exhibition I will use this as the front.
Thanks for everyone who has commented and voted.

It is time for an update.
This poor rosemary has been in the wars, some trunk damage, some foliage dropping however it continues to flower very well.
Not a good background to show the flower colour but that's life.

I think possibly old age and a fungal infection Mel. I do like the way it hangs in there though.

As long as it continues to hang in there! The flowers are lovely too.
