Punica granatum Nana

Post by Jan »

An update on this former Shohin Competition entry while it still has some flowers,

Time for a trim when the flowers finish.

G'day Jan

Your tree and flowers look fabulous and very colourful, congratulations..

I have a couple of the Dwarf Pomegranate and itis in full bloom now too. I am hoping it develops at least one fruit this year. It made one only last year but I was so pleased.

Congratulations on the fruit, boristhebadseed. Mine has never formed fruit but I usually give it a haircut after flowering, and the haircut has been a bit late when "life" has distracted me.

I'd love to see the fruit if it sets any this year. Are they "dwarf"?

Attached are the current fruit for this year. Last year I got 1, this year 2. Apologies for the wait, I am working interstate and only get home a couple times per year. Image

Flowers and, maybe, fruit forming?

Beautiful... love the trunk.

Yes, the fruit forms at the base of the flower.

All the best with your little .
