Prunus Mume Layering

Post by Daluke »

I’ve got three or four layers which I separated from the mother a few months back.

Leading into winter is it to leave flower buds on?

I’m not sure how much root there is (probably not much) and don’t want it to flower itself to death.

Advice is sought.

Best no flowers, but it might be tricky to remove the flower buds without disturbing the leaf buds right next to them. Good luck!
