What was the consensus about the bug? Was anyone able to determine what it was? Did it impact on the plant too much?

The bug was spider mite and asked to spray crushed garlic in water and if it doesnt suffice to go for insecticide. Since the tree lost most of the foliage in pruning, thinking the issue must have got sorted itself :D
