It is only one start! The tree is a Caliandra Brevipes, very common Leguminosa here in the Brazil.

Jamie, use google translate. It translates whole web pages, although it does it literally so the grammar appears weird, but you can get the gist of it. Try the link in the last posting when he said it is open.

Interesting calliandra Luciano, this is a species we could try in australia we have plenty growing here. I went to your forum mate to my surprise I found a pic of my elm tree at the last AABC show - couldn`t believe it ! CHEERS ROD ...............

Up here in the tropics we have heaps of Brazillian raintrees too so we could try them also. I have about 8 in my custody at the moment (belong to my son and is botanist mate - both at University in Townsville. Mate lives in Perth and can't transport plants home over the Christmas break, so I get custody of them......)

That`s another one I would like to get hold of Glenda .Tamarind is another tree we can grow in the sub tropics , I have started one- they have great bark. ROD
