It is a bit hard to ID from that distance. Looks a bit like ficus or camellia but many other possibilities that have similar green leaves.
If you can add some more details that may help.
Closer shots of leaves so we can see the shape of the leaves and arrangement on the stems (alternate or opposite) with something for scale (hand, coin, or something else we all recognise the size of easily)
Trunk and bark are often helpful but may be more difficult in the case of hedge.
Location can give some clues or rule some species out ie some plants only grow outdoors in warmer areas.
It is highly likely these could make reasonable bonsai because they obviously respond well to pruning. Most hedging plants are good because of that.
