Hey all, snooping around my backyard today, I just came across this callitris that I had collected from a nearby gully last year sometime.
I was just wondering if anybody would be able to tell specifically what it is just from the photos? Or if it really matters what it is, apart from just being a callitris?
I suppose it would be nice to know more specifically so I know what to expect from it. If not, it's no biggie, I'll just pop it back and look at it again next time I come across it
Thanks in advance

Re: Callitris ID
This is the ID key for Callitris, but you will need cones to complete it. If it is an SA native that will narrow down the ID as well.

The growth looks quite course, are you sure it is callitris?
Edit: On closer view the leaves seem to be in triangular whorls of threes, characteristic of Callitris, maybe this is juvenile folliage? I'll leave it for the more experienced members to comment further
