What’s this one?

Post by Brandon_Perth »

Hi all,

Does anyone know what this is? Pretty sure it’s native but I’m a bit of a newb.

Thanks

Not much to go on. The leaves and buds look familiar but I can't dredge up a name to go with them at the moment.
If no-one recognises it post another pic when the flowers open.
A pic of the whole plant an also help a lot with context and habit of the plant.

Good idea.

Here’s a pic of the bush.

Any help appreciated.

The trunk and bark are distinctive when coupled with those leaves and flower buds - Pink-flowered Myrtle (Hypocalymma angustifolium)
