Hi all, I have forgotten what species this is.
It is struggling to take water - too many roots in the pot. Hoping now is ok time to repot and trim.
Comments on the pot for this tree also welcome. Currently it is this handmade pot I picked up at a market in Taipei a few years back.

Juniperus communis or rigida - I never know which one it is. Should be tough and strong. I'd be hesitant to repot if you are expecting over-30degC in the next fortnight, but they are resilient.
