Hi, hope you're all doing well. I recently moved to a new house and there's a big tree in front of it. I am planning on having it pruned but not before getting some air layers.

I'm thinking crabapple or some type of flowering cherry?

Almost certainly a crab apple.
You can check to make certain by cutting through one fruit. Cherry has a single large seed but apples have 5 pairs of seeds inside.

You're obviously aware that crab apples make good bonsai.
