[Category 2] Callistemon citrinus - Little John

Post by kcpoole »

tree was given to me from a fellow student at The School of Bonsai who did not want it.
It was in a this basket in very poor soil.
Was root pruned repotted into a large basket as it still will not quite fit into a training pot. It has 1 long stiff root with most roots on the end, so will require more root work at next repot.

Species:- Callistemon citrinus - Little John
Obtained:- October 2010
1st work:- October 2010, Repot and initial Branch trunk Reduction
1st Styling:- January 2011, Initial Apex / Branch selection and wire
