This shohin size Grevillea was found on the bargan table at a local nursery about August 2010, i picked it up along with about 3 other natives, this is the only one to survive, after pruning and repotting. Cost $2.00
This Grevillea makes great bonsai material as it does'nt mind a trim, in fact it likes it. BUT does not shoot back past other green stuff (see left hand stub) it also has small leaves naturely, I have no idea as to the flowers as yet.
It grows back reddily and I am sure will ramify in a few years.
This little one is at 200mm high and 160mm wide its been in training for about 8 months
A wonderfull bark also graces this tree
For your consideration
Mick
