Hey Brett,
Nice Tree by the way.
I am trying to clear something up as I am trying to write a care page for this same variety on my website but have 2 conflicting spellings. I, like you have always thought of this variety as clerondron, but I see it is also spelt clerodendrum.

I have researched some of the clerodendum varieties but the leaves on these clerodendons seem slightly more elongated. but the flowers do look similar.

Any Ideas?
