The Huon Pine occurs in high rainfall areas and especially along rivers in Tasmania's west and south. Among the forest trees, it can grow straight and true, however on the waters edge it often looks more like this example. The new foliage weeps, then gradually lifts as it matures.

Nice sample of this beautiful species. Like you said it really suits this style. I have a few of them in the nursery I bought of Lynn and start styling some of them soon.
