Quick time Shohin
These four (4) Shohin trees have been in training between eleven (11) months and twenty five(25) months. One was started from nursery stock, one from breakage of a larger tree, one from a root and one from a cutting.
So when you need to get smaller trees it will not take for ever to have one ready for a show. Or to just admire in your own backyard or balcony. As you can fit quite a few in a small area, and you do not need a truck to move them around. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Cheers Pup

Re: Quick time Shohin
Seeing these trees in the bark the other week I was very impressed. I take it since Pup showed me a few of these at least twice so is he
I wish I could produce trees as good as this in the time Pup has. Guess with time comes experience

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Looking for the right stock always helps, training techniques I have taught myself, and learned from others here and books, reading is one of my hobbies also.Pat093 wrote:Gday pup

Thank you for the compliment izzykay I think. When I was a young man a long time ago dope meant one of two things, an idiot as in village, or the stuff people smoke to get high.izzykay wrote:lilly pilly looks dope. very inspiring.
Hopefully see you at the show on the weekend when you will get the chance to see them in the bark so to speak.
Cheers Pup

Noah, I have grand children your age mate, so what does that make me I should have asked one of themnoah78 wrote:Thank you for the compliment izzykay I think. Thanks for the explanation mate its like when they used say it was sick. By the time I find out they have changed it.
A bit like our Botanists you get used to one name the industries prints a Million labels, then they change the name. They stay with labels though, just to confuse us dinosaurs also because its too exspencive to get rid of them.
Izzy I will see you at the show for sure as I am there doing my bit for the club.
Cheers Pup
