Re: Ficus - what am I?
That is extraordinary! It gives me the idea to graft the gorgeous foliage of Ficus rubiginosa 'Little Ruby' onto much stronger root stock of normal F. rubiginosa so that it handles the hot tropics better!

Re: Ficus - what am I?
Here you go Ash,....Little Ruby grafted to a PJF seed grown trunk, trunk 2004, 05 model beautiful taper on these trunks from Leong.
In the dual image above it is on the right, I would eventually attach a electrical tie removing the wire, none at the time.
I left the graft for about 2yrs 9mths and severed about 2mths roughly ago, so the graft has taken so very happy there, probably could of severed last season but no hurry.
But that first 6 weeks waiting is a bit of worry after cutting I must say ..but all good now phew.
Has grown more since this image in its training pot
