Thanks for the idea Gavin. It is due for a re-pot this season so I will have a look at your suggestion then. I will need a different pot if I do that, and I will probably use a hand made one from a Aussie ceramic artist (ie potter).

Just a couple more. The first one is the Zelcova from the first page. New pot and the ramification is starting to develop. It is in a Jenny Davis pot

The next one is an Olive that is a bonsai pot for the first time this season. Now I have taken its photo I can see I need to make it shorter and a bit more movement in the trunks. Job for another day. This is a Pat Kennedy pot.
