Very impressive Noah and may I say I love the setup that you've got. I wish I had as much space. If I were a Bonsai I would be happy to live there!!

Re: more shohin
pup ,
your been modest mate to say the least but thanks for the encouragment i didnt know 23cm was the cut off, guess my zelkova fits in too last 12 months ive really fallin in love with shohin. Alot of new people who first see a large developed bonsai are in awe of it but theres something about holding one in the palm of your hand i think, not to mention my back thanks me and im only young again thanks mate.

I was waiting for someone to bring that up. I get reminded by my GF much to her disgust about that. I ended up building her one out the back. Still hasent solved the look i get. Round one still to the trees though

Re: more shohin
Hey noah, I like the figs and am impressed by the progress of the 2 Elms and the Zelkova. You bloody northerners and your warm climate!. Your taste in pots serves your trees well to mate. I am jealous of your layout too, I may have more trees, but your use of space kicks my butt .
You will have to come down to Mexico and bring your hammer and nails, I'll supply the wood and the Tequilla and we'll have a working bee! Better make the tequilla after the construction!!!
Cheers

Re: more shohin
mate all for the building but not sure on the tequilla. Had a nasty experiance with it once, havent touched it since. Bourbon however is a different story. The zelkovas seems to enjoy it up here. They prob handle the heat better than the elms? and grow quick. Always on the lookout for more when your ready . Glad you like the pots, i spend abit of time trying to match trees up. Hopefully most of the time i get it right.Mojo Moyogi wrote:Hey noah, I like the figs and am impressed by the progress of the 2 Elms and the Zelkova. You bloody northerners and your warm climate!.
